Movie Night

a  Last night me and Anna, plus our cousins Sydney, Olivia, and Sawyer went to the movies with our Mimi and PopPop to see The Nutjob. Stand in line to get our tickets, butter the popcorn, grab some sodas, use the bathroom before going to the theatre, and then back to the concessions to find PopPop before going back to the theatre to watch the movie. Yep. We did all of that. We even have the picture to prove it! (Double click the picture to see it bigger.) Of course, then we ended up sitting on the second row, looking up at the big screen while sending our cups down for PopPop to refill with popcorn, but it was a good movie.

Even more entertaining than the squirrel on the screen trying to save the park by stealing nuts from the nut store for winter, though, was Sawyer. He’d stand in the row tilting his head up to see the screen better and remark how funny he thought the movie was… or that he had to use the bathroom. When the movie was over, we headed out to the lobby to wait for Aunt Jo Jo to come pick Sydney, Olivia, and Sawyer up and then Mimi and PopPop would drive me and Anna home. Since Aunt Jo Jo wasn’t there yet, we decided to hop in the photobooth!

“Move your elbow, Anna!” “I don’t have room for my everything!” “The picture is going to cut off my head!” “I can’t… see,” (that last one was Sawyer. If you see in the picture, the last one he finally figured out to stand on tiptoes.) I honestly don’t know how we all fit in there – that photobooth is made for two, not four and then a tater tot! We all had a great time, though, and I can’t wait to do it again. 🙂
